I choose this place for three reasons: 1. The location. It was a good spot to walk to a lot of attractionsvand restaurants. 2. The price. So many other hotels were outrageous in price. This one was decent, offered breakfast and had an elevator. 3. The reviews. Everyone previously raved about the room and the breakfast. In my professional opinion, this was a tourist class hotel. It had the bare essential amenities. The shower was tiny and the shower head was lose. There was no Kleenex in the room and the soap was the size of 1 euro. The room was clean, there was daily maid service despite the website saying there was not. It was facing the street and could be noisy at night. The beds were like army cots and the pillows were flat. The breakfast was also the bare minimum. No fruit other than canned peaches. There was yogurt in containers and toast or croissants. The coffee was the best part. The staff was cortial. Trying to get a taxi was a nightmare. But if you just want a clean, decent place to stay in the center of the city, it was fine.

Very nice hotel in an area within walking distance to trains, restaurants, shopping. Walking distance or short bus ride to Colesseum and many other ruins. Very helpful staff, clean comfy room, nice breakfast.
